Brake connections in the case of use with elevating machines

Answer

For elevator applications, please use Direct current braking method that has the shortest coasting time so that there is no load drop due to the delay in brake operation.
Coasting times for brakes will differ depending on the braking method.
Each connecting method is classfied by circulation current supprencion method used.
The time for Simultaneous braking method (factory shipment) is 0.2 to 0.55 seconds, for Separated braking method is 0.1 to 0.3 seconds, and for Direct current braking method is 0.01 to 0.04 seconds.
