Interval of next power ON

How long should be left between power OFF of the inverter at the motor rotation stop and next power ON?
Category :

Answer

The instantaneous power failure error occurs when the power is turned ON instantaneously (within 100 ms) after the power is turned OFF. When the motor is coasting at the next power ON and restarted, an overcurrent error may occur depending on the magnitude of the load and inertia.
An error occurs as mentioned above.
Recent inverters have the current limit function to avoid the error caused by restarting the inverter while the motor is coasting. Therefore, next power ON can be performed at intervals of one second.
There is no need to wait until the display of the parameter unit disappears.
However, the frequent power ON and OFF may damage the input circuit of the inverter. Do not power ON and OFF the inverter frequently.
