Current value on input side and output side

Inverter current value of FR-A200/A500
1. Among the input side three phases, the current value of only one phase is detected to be extremely low.
The inverter operates at around 10 Hz.
I think this is caused by the control power supply input. In fact, how much can the phases differ from each other?
The FR-A220E-11K inverter is used.
Provide me with reference data.

2. Do the current values on the input side and output side of the inverter increase and decrease together?
As the output side current varies in accordance with the load condition, what about the input side?

Answer

1. When slight imbalance (approximately 5%) is present with the inverter power supply voltage, the inverter input current can get imbalanced significantly. In the worst case, no current flows with a single phase.
This can occur when the inverter operates the motor under a light load or at a low speed. When the current flowing through the load is small, the smoothing capacitor's terminal voltage drops too slowly and no input current flows in the phase with the lowest input power supply voltage.

This is not a fault and the current gets balanced when the motor operates at high speed and the input current increases. When measuring the input current, measure all three phases and average them.

2. In general, the input side supplies the output side with energy, the current on the input side also increases or decreases together with the output side. Note that this relationship is not completely proportional due to motor efficiency.
