Static torque

When using the FREQROL-V200 for positioning (horizontal movement), I want to have the motor stand still for approximately five seconds after the frequency reaches 0 Hz. Is this possible?
Since this is not a lifting system, I want to control it without using the mechanical brake to reduce the cost.
If it is possible, how should I configure the inverter?
The static torque is approximately 80% to 50% of the motor rated torque.

Answer

When a vector inverter is used for position control, the servo lock works when it is stopped.
When the start signal (STF or STR) is turned ON, the servo lock is unlocked.
You can adjust the torque by adjusting Pr.133 (Position loop gain).
It is recommended to use the mechanical brake against a case where the motor cannot be stopped due to an inverter trouble.
