Proper use of AC reactor and DC reactor

The Instruction Manual of the option explains that both reactors have similar effects and I do not know the correct (essential) selection criteria.
Let me know the basis and guideline to select a proper reactor.

Answer

1. ACL has the input power factor of approximately 90% and DCL has the input power factor of approximately 95%. Therefore, DCL has a higher input power factor improving effect. DCL also has smaller footprint than ACL.
2. DCL is also a better countermeasure against harmonic current.
Therefore, you should normally choose DCL. However, since DCL is installed on the inverter's DC part, it cannot be connected with the inverter if the inverter does not have the DC connection terminal (P1).
Previous types of inverters may not have the terminal P1 and you need to choose ACL in this case.
