Power factor improving reactor

I heard that installing the AC reactor and DC reactor is effective against harmonics. Is my following understanding correct?
- AC reactor
1. Improves the inverter power factor.
2. Suppresses the harmonics on the power supply side.
3. Protects the inverter from surge voltage from the power supply.
- DC reactor
1. Improves the inverter power factor.
2. Do you have a material providing numerical data that shows how the DC reactor suppresses the harmonics on the power supply as well as how they are suppressed by using both type of reactors?
Category :

Answer

Your understanding about the AC and DC reactors is correct. For the harmonics suppression effect obtained by using both types of reactors, refer to the table of harmonics contents given in the harmonic suppression guidelines (as well as in the inverter catalog).
