Notes when inverter capacity is larger than motor capacity

Since using an inverter with the same capacity as the motor caused inverter trips (E.Ov2 and E.Ov3), I replaced the inverter with one class higher type.
While the electronic thermal O/L relay setting has been changed, our client is concerned about a possible fault due to replacement of the inverter.
Let your client know the following notes that are for when the inverter capacity is larger than the motor capacity.

Answer

When using one-rank-higher inverter, as you mention, you need to care about the setting of the electronic thermal O/L relay.
Setting the electronic thermal O/L relay to the rated current of the motor used ensures safe use of the one-rank-higher inverter.
One-rank-higher inverters are often used to improve resistance against instantaneous power failure.
