Installation of a reactor

I want to know how to improve installation of a reactor on the inverter and how to calculate its effect, difference between the AC and DC rectors and difference between capacities.

Answer

The answers are as follows:
- Effect of reactor
Attaching a reactor improves the power factor and suppresses harmonics.
The AC reactor improves the power factor to approximately 90%, and the DC reactor improves the power factor to approximately 95%.
For how much harmonics are suppressed, refer to the Harmonic Suppression Guidelines.

- Difference between AC reactor and DC reactor
The DC reactor has a better power factor improving effect and smaller than the AC reactor with the same capacity.
The AC reactor is slightly worse than the DC reactor in the power factor improving effect, but has an effect to reduce influence by surge and recovery currents on the converter.

- Difference due to capacity
Heat generation quantities and external dimensions are different.
