I/O structure error in the MELSEC-F

M8060 (I/O structure error) turns on in the MELSEC-F series and 1020 is stored in D8060.
What does that mean?
Category :

Answer

When an unimplemented input (X) or output (Y) number is used in a program, M8060 turns on.
The first to third digits of the numerical value stored in D8060 indicate the device number.
The fourth digit indicates the I/O type as input (1) or output (0).
When the numerical value is 1020, the inputs X20 and later used in a program are not implemented.
