I want to use the inverter normally in CC-Link operation and occasionally connect to an external frequency setting potentiometer (WA2W, 1 kΩ) to set the frequency.
Can I switch between the NET mode and external operation?
Which parameter should I set for this purpose?

You can switch between the NET mode and external operation.
Assign the X66 signal (Operation switching) to an unused terminal for switching.
Also, set Pr.79 (Operation mode) to "6".
