Features

Flexibly select I/O modules to meet I/O requirements

The same I/O modules can be used with both CC-Link IE TSN and EtherCAT. This allows modules to be selected based on the machine’s I/O requirements, regardless of the network.
This simplifies module selection, letting you focus on the required number of I/O points, signal types, and other application needs.

Use common I/O modules across different network specifications

The slice type remote I/O system features a modular design consisting of a coupler module for network communication and I/O modules for input and output. The same I/O modules can be used with both CC-Link IE TSN and EtherCAT. There is no need to use different I/O modules for each network. This helps maximize the use of design assets, reduce the variety of inventory items, and streamline the management of spare parts.

Reduce wiring time and improve maintainability

Spring-clamp terminal blocks simplify wiring. Simply insert the wires; no screw tightening is required. This helps reduce wiring time and effort.
The two-piece design allows modules to be replaced without removing the wiring. This reduces rewiring work in the event of a failure and makes maintenance easier.

Flexibly expand functions and I/O points to meet application needs

Select the required functions and number of I/O points for each application.
This makes it easier to respond to specification changes during design, add I/O points during commissioning or maintenance, and expand the system to meet machine requirements.

Maximize limited control panel space

The slice architecture lets you combine modules according to the required number of I/O points.
With a height comparable to that of the MELSEC iQ-R Series and a slim width, the I/O system supports a large number of I/O points in a single station, helping save space inside control panels.
