SIM10xx Sensor Integration Machines offer multiple sensor data acquisition and fusion processes, thereby providing space for new application solutions. The acquired data is processed and visualized for important information, for example quality control or process analysis. In addition, the IoT gateway functions enable connection from the edge to the cloud via the Internet in the context of Industry 4.0. The SIM10xx products feature a powerful processor and Ethernet interfaces for cameras and LiDAR sensors. The LiDAR-LOC is a localization solution for all autonomously moving mobile platforms. It uses LiDAR sensor data and links it with information from other sensors as needed. This is how the LiDAR-LOC achieves accurate and reliable localization results based on natural contours – environmental adjustments are not necessary. Integrating the solution into an existing infrastructure and putting it into operation is easy. With the addition of Virtual Line, path planning and control of vehicles are simplified. Virtual line provides us with quick and simple adjustments to the route layout without time-consuming changes to the physical lanes, bridging of damaged tracks to increase availability.
