Output frequency

When Pr.80 (Motor capacity) and Pr.81 (Number of motor poles) are set and operation is started at the set frequency 80 Hz, the output frequency is 80.06 Hz. Why is the output frequency different from the set frequency?
Category :

Answer

When Pr.80 and Pr.81 are set to the value other than "9999", control other than V/F control is performed. For the FR-F700(P) FR-D700, and FR-F700PJ, Pr.81 is not available and thus setting a value other than "9999" in Pr.80 enables control other than the V/F control. In this case, the slip compensation is performed. Therefore, the value of the output frequency contains the slip compensation and becomes larger than the set frequency.
