Inverter operation at instantaneous power failure
I am considering to take countermeasures to restart in the instantaneous power failure 0.5 seconds or lower.
1. When the operation signal (STF, STR) is held, can I restart the inverter after the power restoration?
2. Are the following settings correct?
(1) Short between terminals CS and SD, and select automatic restart after instantaneous power failure.
(2) Set Pr.186 to "6".
3. With the above settings, does an error occur at power failure within 15 to 100 msec?

Answer
When performing the automatic restart after instantaneous power failure, input the operation signal (STF or STR) and selection of automatic restart after instantaneous power failure (CS).
In addition, Pr.57 (Restart coasting time) needs to be set to other than "9999". (Generally, setting to "0" does not interfere with inverter operation.) If Pr.57 (Restart coasting time) is set, the IPF and UVT error does not occur at power failure.
