Wire length between inverter and motor

I am considering to use the speed control for a 15k motor (for fan) using the inverter.
I use external contact input and the speed is fixed to the third gear.
1. How long is the maximum length of wires (U, V, and W) between the inverter and motor?
2. I am concerned about noise surrounding the inverter as well as the motor. What countermeasure against noise is effective?
3. Which model should I choose?

Answer

1. Wiring length between the inverter and the motor should be 500 m or less. For 0.75 kW or lower motors, the following relationship is true: Capacity: Other than low noise operation: Low noise operation 0.1K : 200 m : 30 m 0.2K : 200 m : 100 m 0.4K : 300 m : 200 m 0.75K : 500m : 300m 1.5K or more : 500 m : 500 m

2. An example of countermeasure against noise is given below.
   - Lower the carrier frequency (Pr.72) - Use a metal conduit or shielded cable for the output cable - Install line noise filters

3. Since the motor is dedicated to a fan, use the FREQROL-F500 inverter for fan pumps.
