Speed setting

When the inverter is started in the forward direction, which of the frequency setting potentiometer or high speed selection is prioritized? Does this setting break something? What happens?

1. Parameter setting????No.4 → 60, No.61 → 126, No.79 → 2
2. Set the frequency setting potentiometer.
3. Short-circuit SD-STF and SD-X1.

After configuring the above setting, the OC1 error immediately occurs in every forward or reverse operation. What are the possible cause and countermeasure?

Answer

The high speed command (multi-speed command) is prioritized over the frequency setting potentiometer.
It is OK if these are both input simultaneously.

When the OC1 alarm turns ON upon startup, observe the following:
1. Is the motor overloaded?
2. Is the fast acceleration enabled (Pr.7)? Is the torque boost setting too high (Pr.0)?
3. Are there any short-circuits inside the motor or motor wiring?

If the same phenomenon occurs when the motor wires are disconnected and the inverter is started alone, an internal fault of the inverter is probable. Contact us for inspection.
