Rotation speed setting

With the FR-A500-3.7K, when I set Pr.37 to display the machine speed, the unit is r/min. Can I set the speed in m/min?
If the speed of the inverter and moving speed of the machine are proportional, can I do it?

If this is the case, are the rotation (machine) speed and frequency setting value displayed in the machine speed unit?

Can I set Pr.55 (Frequency monitor reference) to the machine speed corresponding to 10 VDC?

Answer

1. The inverter display is based on the frequency, and the speed and moving speed are displayed by converting the frequency into the corresponding value. Therefore, the speed of the inverter and moving speed of the machine are proportional.

2. It is displayed in the unit of the machine speed. (Note that you need to set Pr.37 to the machine speed and Pr.144 to "Number of motor poles + 100.")

3. Set Pr.55 (Frequency monitor reference) to the machine speed corresponding to 10 VDC. (Note that you need to set Pr.37 to the machine speed and Pr.144 to "Number of motor poles + 100".)In this way, the monitor display and setting unit depend on the setting of Pr.37 (Speed display) and Pr.144 (Speed setting switchover). Refer to the catalog or Instruction Manual.
