Control method

I want to input the start signal as an external signal and set the frequency by multi-speed and by the external potentiometer when multi-speed signal is 0 (nothing is input). Is this control possible?
With the built-in potentiometer, I could not use the inverter as mentioned above.

Answer

1. Can I set the frequency by the external potentiometer when multi-speed signal is 0 (nothing is input)?
-> It is possible by using the external operation mode. When the multi-speed input is sent, multi-speed becomes effective. When the multi-speed input turns off, the external potentiometer becomes effective.

2. I could not do so with the built-in potentiometer.
-> Since the built-in potentiometer belongs to the PU operation mode, it does not work in the external operation mode. Therefore, to use the built-in potentiometer with the external start signal, you need to change the operation mode to PU and external operation mode (Pr.79 = 3). In this case, when the multi-speed input is sent, the multi-speed signal becomes effective.
