Installing parameter unit outside control panel
Is it possible to remove the current operation panel (FR-DU04) from the inverter installed inside control panel and bring it to the enclosure surface (by connecting it and inverter via a cable)?

Answer
You can install the operation panel FR-DU04 (or parameter unit FR-PU04) on the enclosure surface by connecting it with the inverter via a cable.
To do this, disconnect the inverter and operation panel and connect them with an EIA568-compliant cable (for example, 10BASE-T straight cable).
The maximum wiring length allowed is 20 m.
