What are power running and regeneration?
- Category :
Answer
The power running is the status that the servo amplifier is supplying the power to the servo motor when the servo motor drives the load. (Example) When the speed and torque are the same sign during the acceleration of the servo motor, etc., and the servo motor speed and the torque are the positive values, they are in the power running status.
The regeneration is the status that the rotation energy of the servo motor and load flow to the servo amplifier. (Example) When the speed and torque are the reverse sign during the deceleration of the load speed, etc. such as the deceleration of the servo motor and the servo motor is driven by the load, etc., and the servo motor speed is the positive value and torque is negative value, they are in the regeneration status.
