It is possible to reverse-connect if the circuit voltage of UL789 listed products is AC240V or less. Since they are double standard products of UL/CSA and CE marking (IEC, EN standard), they are needed to use differently ,depending on the applicable standards as below.
1. For the circuit breaker applicable for IEC and EN standard, the rated voltage is AC100-240V or AC100-440V, however, the reverse-connectable circuit voltage is up to AC240V.
2. For the circuit breaker applicable for UL standard, the rated voltage is AC120-240V or AC120-480C, however, the reverse-connectable circuit voltage is up to AC240V.
