Difference between networks called CC-Link and those called MELSEC

What are the differences between the CC-Link IE Field Network or CC-Link IE Controller Network, a network with its name including CC-Link, and the MELSECNET/H or MELSECNET/10 network, a network with its name including MELSEC?
Category :

Answer

CC-Link IE, supported by the CC-Link Partner Association, is an open field network standard that integrates networks, from a controller network to field/motion networks, into a single Ethernet-based network.

MELSECNET/H and MELSECNET/10 are networks specific to the MELSEC programmable controllers. There are two types of networks: the PLC to PLC network that provides communication between controllers and the remote I/O network that provides communication with remote I/O stations.
