This contact(SBC) is used to auxiliary switch(AXb) contact. When Drawout type ACB is moved from "test" position to "disconnect" position, AXb contact will be disconnected by ACB position. Thus, Shorting b-contact (SBC) keeps AXb "connecting" state electrically. SBC can maintain the external control circuit even ACB is disconnected.
