3P ELCB single phase use
Is it possible to use 3-poles type of Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker for single phase circuit?
Answer
It is possible to use it if you connect with right and left poles, not neutral pole. Since electronic circuit power supply for earth leakage detection is taken from right and left poles in the circuit breaker, you must connect with them. Moreover, you must make sure that the rated voltage is suitable for the circuit voltage ,since the rated voltage for some time-delay products is 200-400V. (Be sure to use it within the guaranteed voltage range.)
