I try to perform JOG operation by short-circuiting externally assigned terminals JOG and SD, but the RUN LED blinks and the inverter does not start.
I use the setting dial to set the frequency.

Answer

You cannot use the setting dial while the terminals JOG and SD are turned ON.
When performing JOG operation using external signals, set Pr.79 (Operation mode) to "0", "2", or "4".
