How do I restrict numerical display, numerical input, text display, and text input using level authentication?
The following shows how to limit numerical display, numerical input, text display, and text input using level authentication.
Configure the settings in the screen design software.
(Example) Limiting numerical input with a security level.
The security level settings are as follows:
• Display: 0 (All users) / Input: 10 or more
• Security level device: GD200
◆ GT Designer3 (GOT3000) Version 1
1. Set the security mode to [Mode 1]
• In [Type Setting], select [Security Setting] → [Mode 1 (GOT2000 Series Compatible].
2. Set the screen security level (level authentication) if it is not already set
• Select [Common] → [GOT Environmental Setting] → [Security] then select the [Screen Security] tab and select [Level] for the authentication method.
3. Open the [Numerical Input] setting dialog, select the [Extended] tab and set [Security Level].
• [Display]: 0 / [Input]: 10
4. Place a special function switch on the base screen for logging in.
Open the [Special Function Switch] setting dialog, and set [Switch Action] to [Password (Security level)].
5. Place a word switch on the base screen for logging out.
Open the [Word Switch] setting dialog and configure each setting.
• [Device]: GD200 / [Constant]: Select this item and set it to "0".
◆ Operation on the GOT
1. Touch the special function switch for logging in and enter the password that corresponds to the security level on the password screen.
2. To log out, touch the word switch for logging out.
