Ethernet connection between the GOT and multiple QnUDVCPUs

Answer

The following shows an example of settings to connect a single GOT to the built-in Ethernet ports of multiple QnUDVCPUs via Ethernet.

1. Configure the following settings in the screen design software. 
◆ For GT Designer3 (GOT2000) Version 1
(1) [Common] → [Controller Setting] → [CH1]
  Manufacturer: MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC
  Controller Type: MELSEC-Q/QS, Q17nD/M/NC/DR/DSR, CRnD-700
  I/F: Ethernet: Multi
  Driver: Ethernet(MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC), Gateway
  GOT Net No.: 1
  GOT Station: 18
(2) [Common] → [Controller Setting] → [CH1] → [Connected Ethernet Controller Setting]
  Host: *
  NET No.: 1 (virtual)
  Station: 1 (virtual)
  Unit Type: QnUD(P)V/QnUDE(H)
  IP Address: 192.168.3.39
  Port No.: 5006
  Communication: UDP
(3) [Common setting] → [GOT Ethernet Setting] → [GOT IP Address Setting] → [Standard Port]
  GOT IP Address: 192.168.3.18
  Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
(4) Configure the settings from setting (3) above by shifting the station number and the GOT IP address for each GOT.
  Set "*" for the host station of only one CPU.

2. Configure the following settings in GX Works2. 
(1) Select [Parameter] → [PLC Parameter] → [Built-in Ethernet Port Setting]
  IP address: 192.168.3.39
(2) [Parameter] → [PLC Parameter] → [Built-in Ethernet Port Setting] → [Open Setting]
  Protocol: UDP
  Open System: MELSOFT connection (Set this item for each GOT.) 
(3) Set a different IP address for (1) and (2) above for each CPU.
