The number of occupied input/output points per module is 8.  (Excluding some models)
Occupied I/O points: Since actual occupied I/O points cannot be assigned to 8 points, add I/O devices within the remaining number of points subtracted from the maximum number of points. The actual number of occupied I/O points cannot be allocated to 8 points.

Example:When adding 2 intelligent function modules to the FX5U-32MR/ES, the number of I/O points can be increased upto 336 points, which is obtained by subtracting 16 occupied points (for 2 intelligent function modules) and 32 I/O points of the CPU module from the maximum number of I/O points of the FX5U CPU module: 384 points.

*Number of I/O  points: 384 points are supported with firmware version 1.100 or later.
