Differences between the file register and other registers
What is the difference between the file register and other registers?
Answer
The file register is used for storing predetermined values (such as specification values for product inspection).
Other registers are used as a temporary storage area for numerical values used in sequence programs
because values stored in those registers (except for the keeping areas) are cleared to 0 when the programmable controller is powered off.
