Answer
When connecting the personal computer (GX Works3) and the built-in Ethernet interface of the RnCPU via the USB interface of the GOT3000 series or GOT2000 series, set the connection destination in GX Works3 as follows:
1. PC side I/F Serial Setting
• Select [USB].
2. PLC side I/F Detailed Setting of GOT
• CPU mode: Select [RCPU].
• Select [via GOT (Ethernet) transparent mode].
→ GOT (Ethernet) transparent settings
• Model: Select [Ethernet Built-in CPU].
• IP address: Enter the RnCPU IP address.
3. Other Station Setting
• Select [No Specification].
If the following conditions are not met, connection will not be possible.
• Ethernet communication between the GOT and RnCPU is properly established.
• The connection destination of the transparent function is set to RnCPU (MELSEC iQ-R, RnMT/NC/RT, CR800-D).
For details, refer to the GOT connection manual.
