What is the caution that must be followed when we are using Basic Unit (Model: EMU4-BM1-MB, EMU4-HM1-MB, or EMU4-LG1-MB) manufactured in October 2016 or before?
Answer
Basic Unit manufactured in October 2016 or before is version A, which has restrictions on usage. The connectable number of extension units is two, not three when the following two conditions are met.
￭When CC-Link Communication Unit (Model: EMU4-CM-C) of optional units is connected
￭When one or more of either Pulse Input Unit (Model: EMU4-PX4) or Analog Input Unit (Model: EMU4-AX4) is added
*Basic Unit (Model: EMU4-BM1-MB, EMU4-HM1-MB, or EMU4-LG1-MB) manufactured in November 2016 or after is all version B, where three extension units can be connected without any conditions.
