Answer
The following objects are available to switch the displayed character string by turning the bit device on or off.
1. Bit comment
Use this object to display the fixed character string (ON or OFF) or switch between ON and OFF by turning the bit on or off.
2. Word comment
Use this object when there are multiple display patterns of fixed character strings.
3. Text display
Use this object to display character strings (variable character strings/character code expressions) stored in the word device.

Figure 1 shows the locations where the above-mentioned objects can be selected in GT Designer3 (GOT2000).

When using a bit comment or word comment, set the bit comment (Fig. 2) or word comment (Fig.3).

To display a fixed character string, use a bit comment or word comment.
The text display interprets the data stored in the word device as character codes (ASCII code, Unicode, Shift JIS code, GB code, KS code, or Big5 code) and displays the text.
