Answer
If input by touching the key window is not possible, check the display settings of the cursor.
Even if the key window is displayed, input is not possible if the cursor is not displayed.
◆ For GT Designer3 (GOT3000) Version 1
There are two methods, configure the settings for the project or for each screen.
To change an operation for all screens, configure the settings for the project.
To change an operation for individual screens, configure the settings per screen.
(1) Settings per project
Select [Common] → [GOT Environmental Setting] → [Key Window] → [Advanced Setting] tab → [Key Window/Cursor Display Setting].
(2) Settings per screen
Select [Screen] → [Screen Property] → [Key Window Advanced Setting] tab, then select [Prioritize screen setting over project setting] above [Key Window/Cursor Setting].
If the steps above do not solve the problem, check the following:
• Is the target object a numerical or text display (ASCII)?
• Is the value being constantly overwritten by the controller, trigger action, or script?
• Is the security level for input sufficient?
• Is a transparent switch placed over the screen? (GT21 only)
• Is the input value outside of the input range setting?
• Does the user ID entered through key input match the key code switch settings and the target object?
