When using the brake unit FR-BU2, should I remove the jumper between the terminals P1 and P?

Answer

Removal of the jumper between the terminals P1 and P is not necessary unless you are using the DC reactor.
Set Pr.30 = "0" when using the brake unit.
Since setting Pr.30 = "0" invalidates the setting of Pr.70, you do not have to set it.
