Difference from general-purpose inverter
What are the differences from the general-purpose inverter?
- Category :
Answer
While the inverter uses open-loop (V/F) control, it uses semi-closed loop vector control (constant current control).
This enables output of stable torque especially at low speed, extends the speed control range (1:500), and allows for torque control.
It also enables positioning operation using an option.
You need a vector control dedicated motor or a standard motor with an encoder for vector control.
(An encoder is necessary.)
