Are open settings required to connect multiple GOTs to a single MELSEC iQ-R controller (built-in Ethernet port)?

Answer
Open settings are required when the communication method of the GOTs is TCP for a single MELSEC iQ-R series controller (built-in Ethernet port).
Configure the settings for [External Device Configuration] in GX Works3 for each connected GOT.

Go to the Navigation window then select → [Parameter] → [RnCPU] → [Module parameter] →
[Basic Settings] → [External Device Configuration] → [Detail settings] → [Ethernet configuration (built-in Ethernet port)]

Open settings are not required when the communication method on the GOT side is UDP.
