Multiple (five) motors are connected to a single inverter.
Since the rated current of a single motor is 1 A, can I set Pr.9 (Electronic thermal O/L relay) to 5 A?

Answer

When using multiple motors, connect an external thermal for each of them.
Set Pr.9 to "0" to disable the function. (When multiple motors are present, it is not clear which motor has large current flowing.) The inverter can only see the total current.)
