Using a specified bit (on/off) of a word device (D) as a condition for a contact
In the MELSEC-F series, is it possible to use a specified bit (on/off) of a word device (D only) as a condition for a contact?
Answer
In the FX3U/FX3UC series, a bit in a word device can be specified.
It can be specified by "Word device (D only) + Decimal point + Bit position (0 to F)".
An index modification (Z and V) cannot be used for a device number (example: D10Z0.5) and a bit position number (example: D10.5Z0).
<Example of instruction input>
A program that specifies b5 (6th bit) of D10 as a normally open contact
D10.5
