FAQ
Maximum number of characters in a comment that can be transferred to a FX3U series
How many characters in a comment can be transferred to FX3U series?
Answer
As project data, up to 32 one-byte characters (16 two-byte characters) can be input to each global device comment. However, the maximum number of characters that can be written to a programmable controller is 16 (one-byte) (8 (two-byte)).
(Local device comments cannot be written to the MELSEC-F series. To write local device comments, create them as global device comments, or convert them to global device comments before writing to the MELSEC-F series.)
