Regarding Selecting a mapping pattern for PDO communication
There are four mapping patterns (TPDO, PRDO) for PDO communication in GX Works3. Which one should I select in FX5-CCLGN-MS?
Answer
On the FX5-CCLGN-MS, select "3rd Transmit PDO Mapping" and "3rd Revive PDO Mapping."
The 3rd mapping pattern corresponds to the profile position mode (pp), profile speed mode (pv), profile torque mode (pt) and homing mode (hm) of the CiA402 control modes.

The 1st, 2nd, and 4th mapping patterns are not supported.
