FAQ
Range of possible frequencies that can be used when operating oil lubricated models with the inverter drive
Please explain the range of possible frequencies that can be used when operating an oil lubricated model with the inverter drive.
Answer
To prevent gear wear and bearing failures due to inadequate lubrication for oil lubrication-type models (GM-D and LJ), restrictions are placed on the frequency ranges that can be used. When in continuous operation, please do not operate the equipment at 25Hz or less. The frequency ranges that can be used differ based on output. Please consult the general catalogue.
GM-DZ model (inverter-operated V/F-based torque model) is lubricated with grease, so it can be used even at low speeds.
