Regarding the brake wiring for when the inverter drive is in use.
Is it OK to connect the brake on the inverter output side when the inverter drive is operating?

Answer
When the geared motor is being operated by inverter drive, please do not make connections to the secondary side of the inverter. As for the brake wiring, please use either Separated braking method or Direct current braking method through commercial power. The brake goes into operation late due to low voltage when it starts to operate, and elements within the power unit will be damaged due to PWM waves.
