Security key authentication function of MELSEC iQ-R series
What is the security key authentication function of MELSEC iQ-R series?

The security key authentication function registers a security key in a program file and prevents unauthorized execution or access
to the program.You can set this function with the following two methods.
(1) Preventing unauthorized access to a program
This function allows or does not allows an operation to the program depending on whether a security key in the program file
and the one of a personal computer match or not.
(2) Preventing unauthorized execution of a program in a CPU module
This function allows or does not allows an operation to the program depending on whether a security key in the program file
written in a CPU module and the one of the CPU module match or not.
