Ethernet communication after the replacement of an external device

My personal computer is out of order, so I replaced it with a new one. Since then, communication with an Ethernet module cannot be established although the data I have set, such as an IP address, is the same as that before the replacement. What is the cause?
Category :

Answer

Personal computers have different MAC addresses and an Ethernet module hold a MAC address. Hence the MAC address that the Ethernet module currently holds is not the new computer's MAC address but the old one's. Since those MAC addresses do not match, communication is impossible.

In this case, perform initial processing
again on the Ethernet module's part.
Step (1): Cut off all the lines of communication being established and perform close processing for all the connectors.
Step (2): Execute the dedicated instruction "ZP.UINI".
