How can I extend the station-to-station distance?

Answer
Use the optical media converter DMS-1000SL(-DC) (manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric System & Service Co., Ltd.). You can extend the station-to-station distance to up to 15 km by setting two optical media converters between stations and connecting them with single mode optical fiber cables.
