The maximum number of connections for the simple CPU communication function of FX5 CPU module is 16 for FX5U/FX5UC CPU module and 8 for FX5UJ/FX5S CPU module. In addition, by adding FX5-ENET and FX5-ENET/IP to FX5U/FX5UC/FX5UJ CPU module , it is possible to connect an additional 32 modules.
