Regarding number of input/output points when adding safety extension module
If the FX5-SF-MU4T5 is added, will the number of I/O points that can be added to the FX5 CPU module be affected?
Answer
It will. It is treated the same as an intelligent module, so it occupies 8 I/O points. The safety input expansion module FX5-SF-8DI4 does not occupy the number of I/O points even when it is expanded.
