Regarding the differences between Latches (1) and (2)
What is the difference between latches (1) and (2) on FX5 CPU modules?
Answer
Whether the latch range is set by default is different.
・Latch (1) — Latch range is set by default. This can be changed at any time.
・Latch (2) — No latch range is set by default. This is optional.
・Latch (1) — Latch range is set by default. This can be changed at any time.
・Latch (2) — No latch range is set by default. This is optional.
The latch range can be set between latch (1) and latch (2). Make sure that the ranges do not overlap.
Also, the range to clear from [Online] -[CPU Memory Operation] in GX Works3 differs.
・To clear devices outside the latch range.
・To clear the range of device outside the latch range + latch (1).
・To clear the device outside the latch range + the range of the latch (1) + the range of the latch (2).
・To clear devices outside the latch range.
・To clear the range of device outside the latch range + latch (1).
・To clear the device outside the latch range + the range of the latch (1) + the range of the latch (2).
