The recommended cable gauge for 7.5K is 3.5 sq. Why is the crimp terminal of 5.5 sq recommended?

Because the crimp terminal of 3.5 sq is out of JIS standard. The 5.5 sq crimp terminal can also fix the 3.5 sq cable.
