IPM motor drive
While driving the IPM motor, when the frequency is set to 60 Hz, it turns to 60 Hz after rising up to 70 Hz. When it is changed from 60 Hz to 12 Hz, it turns to 12 Hz after dropping to 0 Hz. Why does this occur?

Answer
Overshooting of the speed due to the acceleration/deceleration may be the cause. Overshooting is more likely to occur when the load inertia is too high. As a countermeasure, extend the acceleration/deceleration time or Pr.821 (Speed control integral time 1).
